Patch-TEA app use
When using the app for the first time, tap No Account? Register a new account, then enter your first and last name, phone number (get phone code verification), and new password (6 digits and/or letters), and tap Register (you can skip the field Doctor ID)
When logging in, you can tick the box Remember the Password to avoid entering the password in the future (do that only if you are a single person with access to the phone/tablet). Tap Welcome to Patch-TEA and proceed to the Treatment page. Allow Patch-TEA to turn on the Bluetooth, if requested.
Tap Search Device and wait for popup Bluetooth searching ... to disappear. If your Patch-TEA device is nearby and is turned on, you will see it listed as TRI Patch-TEA. Tap that name and wait for popup Connecting device to disappear and the image of Patch- TEA device on the screen to turn grey. You are now connected to the Patch-TEA device.
You cannot modify any stimulation parameters (except for amplitude) on the phone! On the tablet, you can add a Treatment by tapping + in the top right corner and selecting one of the Treatments, for example Custom Treatment. If the Custom Treatment is not defined, tap the Edit icon to the right from Custom Treatment and in the popup window, type the Pulse Width (us) from 50 to 750, Frequency (Hz) from 1 to 50, Burst On and Off (ms) from 100 to 10000, Treatment Time (min) from 5 to 90, Current Intensity from 1 to 10, and Pulse polarity (select Monophasic or Alternating). Tap Save to create the Custom Treatment. Then tap on the Custom Treatment to select it, which is reflected by the words Custom Treatment TEA1 appearing above the device image on the screen. The selected treatment is automatically sent to the device and is saved for future use, so you don't need to repeat step 4 every time after turning on the device. Instead, go directly to the step 5 or 6.
Apply the treatment using the app: tap the Power button on the device image, it will turn green and the switch on the device display image will change from OFF to ON. Stop the treatment by tapping the Power button again, it will turn white again and the switch on the device display image will change from ON to OFF. Adjust the treatment amplitude by tapping - and + buttons on the device image.
Apply the treatment using the device (alternative to step 5 above): press the Power button on the device, and the switch on the device display will change from OFF to ON. Stop the treatment by pressing the Power button again, and the switch on the device display will change from ON to OFF. Adjust the treatment amplitude by pressing - and + buttons on the device.
Turn off the device by pressing and holding the Power button on the device (for about 4 seconds).
